A Rebels for Peace Documentary

REBELVOICES

"We all know what the evening news says. Now hear what it's actually like to grow up, live, teach, and raise children in Chicago."

The Premise

Beyond the headlines.
Healing from the Inside Out.

Rebel Voices captures the unfiltered reality of our neighborhoods. You'll hear from 4th–8th grade "mini rebels" sharing what it's like to feel scared to play outside — contrasted with members elders sharing their stories of Healing. Through the lenses of youth facilitators, educators, principals, and parents, we explore our genuine challenges alongside our deepest points of pride: our food, our music, and the undeniable spirit of being from Chicago.
